The Alphabet of Golf (N-Z)

The Alphabet of Golf

Last week we took a jovial look at the game of golf by creating the alphabet of golf looking at letters A to M and today we continue with letters N-Z:

N

Not sign-posted (refers to nearly all golf courses in Spain)

O

Out of Bounds (most often used by the poor golfer)

Penalty Shot (usually the result of an errant shot and misunderstood by many)

Quandary (the state of a golfers mind after a golf lesson)

R

Rules of Golf (these can be used to your advantage if understood)

S

Society Secretary (unpaid, overworked and often verbally abused)

T

Trees (apparently they are 86% air you know)

U

V

Victory (usually the domain of the more consistent golfers)

W

Walkers (the most rare of golfers as nearly all players want a ride in a buggy)

X

Y

Yips ( a putting affliction usually affecting better players only)

Z
