Roda is one of the best courses in Murcia and are continually finding ways to imrove their product offering to their golfing clientele both on and off the course.
Here are just a few improvements and changes made at Roda during 2024:
a) Tees
These have been stripped of previous grasses and levelled and sown with a different Bermuda grass todifferentiate from other grasses on the course and to give a better recovery from divots and will be more durable to heavy golf traffic on the course.
b) New machinery
Roda have purchased a new quintuple fairway machine to keep the course and fairways in the best condition in a more sustainable and efficient manner.
c) Solar Panels
They have installed an electical productions plant of 98 solar panels using photovoltaic tchnology over an area of approx 250m2 to aid long terms sustainability.
c) Thermo Ceramic Bottles
The professional shop have introduced a range of Runbott thermo ceramic bottles of 60cl capacity which keep fluids hot for 12 hyourses or cold for 24 hours.
