Golf\nequipment can be expensive and there are certain golfing consumables that you\nwill purchase repeatedly such as golf balls, tee pegs and golf gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\nhave discussed which type of golf balls to use to suit your golf in previous\narticles but not yet discussed golf gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These\ncan be expensive these days and although you can get bargain gloves from\noutlets such as Decathlon and Sports Direct or from the internet, generally you\nget what you pay for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assuming\nyou have paid circa \u20ac15 for a golf glove just how do you make it last longer so\nthat you get your monies worth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\nare a few tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Practice\non the range with an older glove.<\/li>
  2. Store\nthe glove flat and in a plastic sleeve when not in use.<\/li>
  3. Take\nthe glove off between shots.<\/li>
  4. Wash\nthe glove in a washing machine with other items of the household wash with a\nsoft detergent.<\/li>
  5. Check\nthe glove for \u2018wear markings\u2019 because if the wear pattern is on the palm you\ncould have a problem with your grip or have handle of the incorrect size and if\nthe wear pattern is under the thumb you could be gripping to hard.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
