\u2018New Sierra Golf Course\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A few week ago I had to report on the sad demise and closure of La Peraleja so it is good to be able to give you some good news about the re-opening of a golf course called New Sierra Golf.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

About 10 years ago Sierra Golf opened as a 9 hole golf course on a pay and play basis and to start with even had an honesty box.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The course is located just off the C-3319 Murcia Balsicas highway on the La Tercia road.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately at the time it was in the middle of what can only be described as a building site and was not so appealing to golfers and closed some four years ago.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now under new ownership and with the surrounding area now substantially complete and with a better infrastructure the course has been re-born as New Sierra Golf.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The course is still a 9 hole layout of 5406 metres or 5946 yards from the yellow tees making up a par 36 course of par 3,par 4 and par 5 holes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They have done considerable work to the bunkers and now have a fleet of 45 buggies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now that we have entered the high season period with prices at their highest this may be an ideal time to try the course at an affordable price.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
