Around and about the courses \u2013 Roda<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Despite improving but difficult financial times Roda will hold their\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>LA FIESTA DEL GOLF <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>for the 3<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>rd<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> consecutive year <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>which will take place from <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Monday 10<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>th <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span>\u00a0to Sunday 16<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>th<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span> of August 2015<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Roda Golf & Beach Resort Fiestas started two years ago as an initiative of the Roda Golf Course Members. The original idea was to organize a fiesta<\/i> were members and house owners of Roda of all nationalities could get together and organize different activities such as golf, paddle, tennis, karaoke, face painting, jumping bag races for kids, etc. The success was such that friends of friends came (around 5000 people last year) and this has now been \u201cdeclared officially\u201d the Fiestas of the Resort. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This year, with the aim of bringing even more people to the resort, they want to offer the possibility to play 18 holes at Roda Golf Course for only \u20ac30 at any time during this week. Buggies are at their usual low season rate of 12\u20ac. This means \u20ac36<\/span> per person shared buggy included<\/span><\/span> or \u20ac42<\/span> for 1 x Green Fee &buggy<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However the festive spirit does not finish there, customers will be able to enjoy <\/span>beer and tapas<\/span><\/span> from just \u20ac1 each (during six days, from Tuesday to Sunday) and they will be holding clinics (aimed to beginners) for both adults and juniors for only \u20ac5.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They will also do a Speed Golf tournament<\/b><\/span> (1 hole). This will be one of the most fun moments of the Fiestas program. The entry for this tournament will be \u20ac5 but everybody is welcome to come and watch.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The highlight of the Fiesta del Golf will be the 2<\/span><\/span>nd<\/span><\/sup><\/span> running of the charity tournament \u201cFood Aim\u201d where the registration fee would be \u20ac30 + a compulsory donation of a minimum of three non-perishable foods such as: packages of rice, pasta, flour, canned food, oil, sugar, etc. All foods will be given\u00a0 to C\u00e1ritas San Javier.<\/span><\/span> This tournament will be open to federated and non-federated players.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
