The Alphabet of Golf<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last week we took a jovial look at the game of golf by creating the alphabet of golf looking at letters A to M and today we continue with letters N-Z:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
N<\/td>\nNot sign-posted (refers to nearly all golf courses in Spain)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
O<\/td>\nOut of Bounds (most often used by the poor golfer)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
P<\/td>\nPenalty Shot (usually the result of an errant shot and misunderstood by many)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Q<\/td>\nQuandary (the state of a golfers mind after a golf lesson)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
R<\/td>\nRules of Golf (these can be used to your advantage if understood)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
S<\/td>\nSociety Secretary (unpaid, overworked and often verbally abused)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
T<\/td>\nTrees (apparently they are 86% air you know)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
U<\/td>\nUnusual (a cheating golfer who can count)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
V<\/td>\nVictory (usually the domain of the more consistent golfers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
W<\/td>\nWalkers (the most rare of golfers as nearly all players want a ride in a buggy)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
X<\/td>\nXtreme\u00a0 (the language used by most male golfers on the golf course)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Y<\/td>\nYips ( a putting affliction usually affecting better players only)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
