Las Colinas Golf and Country Club

Alicante Golf
Seve Ballesteros designed course is on the outskirts of
Alicante city
and close to the San Juan beaches and is unique because the
course is
par 72 consisting of six par 3 holes, six par 4 holes and six
par 5 holes.
On the par 5 14th hole you actually play over old Roman ruins
and the lake
on the 9th hole is in the shape of an 'S' for Seve.
The course is relatively flat but there are long distances
between greens and
tees and therefore a buggy is almost a must.
There are excellent practice facilities with a 70 bay driving
range, practice
bunkers and chipping and putting areas.
The clubhouse and facilities are open all year around from
08.00 till 18.00 in
the winter and 08.00 to 21.00 in the summer months.

El Plantio Club is situated
3 kilometres from the city of Alicante this is an urban
course. It has one round of 18 holes and another one of 9,
which makes it great for all players.
There is also a practice
course with covered tees on two levels and capacity for 120
places,
an approach course, a putting green and an
international golf school. Planted with over 45,000
mature trees, over 15,000 bushes and plants and over 500,000
m2 of grassland, this area of semi-desert has been transformed
into a beautiful course.

The Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort is situated near to the
village of Fuente Alamo and is currently the longest golf course
in Spain at 6,724 metres and PGA tour player Miguel Angel
Jimenez claims that this is potentially the best course in Spain.
The resort includes excellent practise facilities with a two tier
driving range, two putting greens and a 6 hole practise course
measuring 1252 metres in length.
The clubhouse facilities are temporary at present but future plans
include not only completion of the new clubhouse but another 18
hole course which is currently under construction, restaurants,

La Serena
This golf resort is located close to Los Alcazares and the waters
of the Mar Menor and San Javier airport are only 10 minutes away and
it is only a short drive to cities such as Murcia, Cartagena and the
world famous La Manga.
The course itself 'wraps' around the 500 year old Torre del Rame
which was built to keep watch for pirates from North Africa.
The facilities include clubhouse, restaurant and excellent practice
areas with plans for shops, hotels, spa's and tennis courts in the
near future.
The course is an excellent test of golf with water hazards on
sixteen of eighteen holes but will not suit golfers who's natural
shot is short in length with a left to right ball flight because that
is where the water is located.

Roda Golf opened it's doors to the public on
June 30th 2006. The 18-hole par 72
(6,137 metres) golf course was designed by Dave
Thomas, one of the most prestigious European golf
designers. He said that he was very satisfied with
his ability to transform a practically level land into a waved
golf course. Lakes have been located in strategic places and
the layout was created by combining different environments and
working with and adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and

Alenda golf course is situated in the foothills of the Sierra de las
Aguilas
