Around and About the Courses – Font Del Llop
The beautiful golf course that is Font del Llop is a rolling links like golf course played in a valley overlooking the town of ASPE.
This golf course is a challenge for all standards of golfer ,especially the first 6 holes which tend to squeeze the golfer a little but then opens up on the back nine.
The golf course is relatively new but already the are making plans to improve the course and this work has now started with changes to the par 5 9th hole.
The green on this hole is large but undulating which creates a limited number of pin positions and they have decided to lower the green by 6 to 8 feet, flatten the putting surface and raise the green side bunker so it as not so deep and alter the water course of the stream to the left of the green.
This work will cost in the region of €100k and the work will take 6 months so to allow for this they have created a good quality provisional green.
None of this work should detract from this beautiful and challenging golf course and why not play it now as low season prices are still available until 24/08/19.
